The Name “StillArt”

The name “StillArt” is naturally connected with the name of the founder of the company, as well as that we work in the (performing) arts sector. It is also a playful way of playing with the artform “still art”. And in a deeper sense we want to make sure that “there is still a lot of space for the art” – that there is and always will still be art. The name also has family connection that is less obvious: When founding StillArt back in 1992, Magnus Still’s parents had been running the yacht design company Still Yachts for a couple of decades and Magnus’ elder brother had the US based yacht service and sales company Still International.
